Schools awarded the grant will receive a complete web site makeover, including custom design and porting over of most content from their existing web sites (all design, setup fees and hosting fees will be subsidized through the grant, valued at up to $20,000 per district).

In applying for the SchoolSpan grant, our school/district has agreed to commit the staffing resources to undertake this program. One staff member will be designated as the "site administrator" who will need virtually no training and will receive a written set of instructions to link the SchoolSpan Web Site solutions into your web site. SchoolSpan develops our solutions through extensive survey, case studies and testing to insure effectiveness, ease of use and administration. Our mission is to support your efforts should difficulties arise. However, little or no web admin expertise is required. This grant is for a period of 1 years from the date of our receiving your signed grant authorization form until your eRate funding acceptance or July 1, 2009.
